Pedestrian, 71, killed while crossing Garden Grove street

GARDEN GROVE >> A 71-year-old pedestrian crossing a street Friday night, Dec. 8 was killed when he was hit by an Infiniti.
The crash was reported at 5:56 p.m. in a southbound lane of Brookhurst Street just north of Bixby Avenue,  said Sergeant P. Gildea.
The man, crossing eastbound in an area not marked by a crosswalk, was struck by a blue 2004 Infiniti G35 driven by a 22-year-old man, Gildea said. The pedestrian died at the scene.
