Pacifica softball duo combines to throw perfect game

Don’t count out Pacifica’s softball team just yet.
The No. 10 Mariners kicked off an important week Monday with 13-0 victory against visiting Western in the Empire League.
Senior Eliza Sandoval and junior Julia Cabral combined to throw a perfect game for the Mariners (12-7, 1-1), who bounced back from a 3-1 loss against surprising Valencia last week.
Sandoval pitched three innings while Cabral logged two innings.
