Pacifica pounds out 11 hits, overpowers No. 8 Laguna Hills

GARDEN GROVE – Pacifica collected 11 hits and scored in every inning in a 12-4 victory over Laguna Hills in a non-league softball game Thursday at Pacifica High.
Every starter reached base at least once for the Mariners (7-4), who are ranked No. 5 in Orange County, and eight starters scored at least one run.
Pacifica’s most productive hitter was No. 3 batter Alyssa Brito, who went 3 for 3 with a walk, three RBIs and two runs scored.
