Pacheco commits to Long Beach State

Segerstrom’s Basilio Pacheco committed to Long Beach State, Segerstrom coach Erasmo Ramirez reported Friday.
Pacheco was Golden West League MVP this past spring as a junior. He also was All-Orange County second team as a first baseman.
Ramirez said Pacheco, recruited as a pitcher, also had received offers from Cal State Fullerton, Fresno State and San Diego State.
