Oven fire spreads into kitchen at Cypress home

CYPRESS — An oven fire at a home spread into the kitchen on Thursday night but was quickly put out by firefighters, authorities said.
Firefighters were dispatched at about 7:40 p.m. Thursday, August 3, to the 10000 block of St. Elizabeth Circle for a fire in a kitchen, Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Larry Kurtz said.
The fire was put out in less than 10 minutes and no injuries were reported, Kurtz said.
There were 22 firefighters on scene, and damage to the kitchen and home were unknow
