Orangethorpe Avenue overpass nearly done

Travel from Chapman Avenue to Orangethorpe Avenue in Placentia just got a little easier for thousands of residents and commuters. The reopening of the intersection last week allows traffic traveling southbound on Chapman to turn eastbound onto Orangethorpe. The overpass is part of the $635 million OC Bridges Project, which is building seven overpasses and underpasses that should improve traffic flow by separating roads from train tracks that run through Anaheim, Fullerton, Placentia and Yorba Li
