Orange Unified picks a new interim superintendent

Orange Unified School District’s board has chosen Michael Christensen as the district’s interim superintendent.
Christensen’s appointment, announced Monday, Nov. 18, comes about two weeks after the district said former Superintendent Ernie Gonzalez would step down from his position. Gonzalez’s last day as superintendent was Nov. 15, and he has since transitioned to a senior administrative role within the district.
