Orange County toll road operator changes discount program to require more frequent use

The Transportation Corridor Agencies is using the roll out of new FasTrak transponders to push its discounts toward more frequent drivers.
Before July 1, drivers with the transponders received a $1 per toll discount when using the TCA’s four toll roads in Orange County: the 73, 133, 241 and 261. Now the TCA is mailing out new transponders to all registered users – even those who previously used its ExpressAccount option that charged based on cameras picking up their license plates.
