Orange County firefighters heading to Texas to help with Hurricane Harvey

A team of Orange County firefighters was on a road trip through the Southwestern United States Friday morning, Aug. 25 – on their way to San Antonio, Texas, to provide search-and-rescue help during Hurricane Harvey.
Hurricane Harvey, already declared a Category 2 storm by forecasters, is barreling toward Texas with the strength to flood communities 100 miles inland. Winds could hit 125 miles per hour, and the storm is expected to make landfall late Friday or early Saturday.
