BOYS BASKETBALL
No. 19 University outlasted San Clemente in the Gary Raya/SoCal Elite Tournament, beating the Tritons 83-81 in overtime. San Clemente trailed by 14 heading into the fourth quarter and Jack Carroll made a 3-pointer to tie the game with 4.5 seconds remaining in regulation. The Trojans outscored the Tritons 10-8 in overtime and Noah Small made the game-winning layup as time expired.
