BOYS BASKETBALL
Cameron Dashiell  scored 18 points and Sam Howlin had 17, but it was their defense that keyed La Habra’s 56-38 victory over Esperanza in the North Orange County Championships on Monday. Dashiell made eight steals, while the 6-foot-8 Howlin grabbed 15 rebounds and blocked seven shots. Jason Francis led Esperanza with 23 points on five 3’s.
