One person killed in accident on 57 freeway

A person was killed in an accident on the southbound 57 freeway Saturday when a car veered off the road and went down an embankment, authorities said.
The accident occurred at about 7:30 p.m. on the freeway near the Chapman Avenue on-ramp, near the Anaheim/Orange border, according to the California Highway Patrol.
