Old Towne Orange design standards updated for first time since 1999

The design standards for development in Old Towne Orange have been updated for the first time since 1999, offering new guidance and clarifying what can and can’t be done to homes in the city’s historic core.
The update, which has gone through town halls and several city meetings, isn’t so much about making major changes as it is about clarifying and making the process easier to understand, said Marissa Moshier, historic preservation planner with the city.
