Ohio State commit Clark Phillips III of La Habra expected to sign Thursday

The Clark Phillips III recruiting watch will extend until Thursday.
La Habra’s Ohio State-committed cornerback is not expected to sign on National Signing Day’s kickoff on Wednesday, Dec. 18 but instead sign the following day at 11 a.m.
Phillips said the reason for the delay is that Thursday also is his 18th birthday.
His recruiting is being closely watched after the two-time Freeway League MVP made a trip Utah last weekend.
