OCTA is making more changes to bus route, eliminating some and add to others to boost ridership

Orange County transportation officials continue to try to find the right mix of bus routes to turn around the system’s falling ridership stats.
A new list of 14 changes, including the elimination of some under-performing routes, will be considered by the Orange County Transportation Authority board on July 22. The changes were vetted this week by the agency’s transit committee.
The county’s bus ridership is at its lowest level in years, officials said.
