OC’s four frosh Dems could actually get something done
There is a one-time opportunity for the four new Democratic members of Congress from Orange County, who replaced Republican incumbents, to have a major impact on public policy. Californians comprise 46 of the 234 Democratic representatives, the largest state contingent by far. Among all California Democrats, however, none carries political significance equal to the Orange Four. That the Democrats won every congressional seat in Orange County gave a tremendous boost to their national reputation.
