Ocean dip kicks off New Year in Huntington Beach

Huntington Beach celebrates the New Year with the 18th annual Surf City Splash from 9 a.m. to noon, Monday, Jan. 1 at the Huntington Beach Pier.
The event includes pancake breakfast, craft fair, awards contests, ocean dip and certificate.
No wetsuits are allowed.
