OC Fair shuts down ‘G Force’ ride as precaution after deadly Ohio fair accident

The death of a man who was killed when a thrill ride at the Ohio State Fair malfunctioned this week prompted OC Fair officials to close a similar carnival ride Wednesday night, July 26, as a precaution.
The ride — known as the G Force — has been taken apart and is undergoing inspection, said Terry Moore, director of communications for the OC Fair & Event Center.
“As soon as we heard of the accident in Ohio we knew we had a similar ride so we elected to shut it down,”
