OC Fair made $9.2 million profit in 2017 despite slight drop in attendance

COSTA MESA The 2017 OC Fair generated $9.2 million in profit despite a slight dip in attendance from last year, officials announced this week.
In total, the fair took in $34.5 million in revenue, an increase of $800,000 from 2016 spurred by concession sales and gate admissions, said Michele Richards, vice president of business development for the OC Fair & Event Center.
