OC Fair 2019: Sweet confections make for tough competition

About 100 entries in the form of cookies, cakes and cupcakes were spread across tables in the OC Promenade as judges decided the blue ribbon winners for several competitions ahead of the 2019 OC Fair.
From woodworking to table setting and flower arranging to sugar arts, the OC Fair will reward the hobbies of hundreds of contestants this year. Many will be rushing the gate when the fair opens on Friday, July 12, to find out if they won a ribbon.
