Headed to the fair for opening day? Here’s some things to know.
Hours: Noon to midnight
Admission: $12 adults; $5 ages 60 and older (Friday deal, includes one free Ferris wheel or merry-go-round); $7 ages 6 to 12; free 5 and younger
Deals:Free admission and parking until 3 p.m.
Free admission for veterans and active-duty military with ID
