OC Fair 2018: Here’s what it looks like on opening day

COSTA MESA — Crowds were waiting at the gates well before the noon opening of the OC Fair on Friday, July 13.
Parking and entry are free through 3 p.m. After that, general admission is $7. The fair is open until midnight.
The fair runs at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa through Aug. 12, offering 150 acres of carnival rides, midway games, every type of food for taking advantage of a cheat day and more. There are exhibit halls of products to buy and barns of animals to meet.
