Notebook: Jordan Lasley stars in UCLA’s rivalry loss

LOS ANGELES — The ball went off a USC defender’s fingertips then it bounced of a USC defender’s helmet. Then it landed in Jordan Lasley’s hands.
Lasley’s miraculous 43-yard catch in the third quarter of UCLA’s 28-23 loss was one of the redshirt junior’s many big plays against the Trojans on Saturday as the former Gardena Serra product is starting to make a habit of stepping up in UCLA’s annual rivalry game.
He is one of the rare Serra pro
