No surgery for Justin Turner as Dodgers try to fill the void
GLENDALE, Ariz. — Replacing Justin Turner at third base for weeks will not be easy. Replacing him in the lineup will be even more difficult.
Turner suffered a fractured left wrist when he was hit by a pitch in Monday’s game. He was examined by Dr. Brian Shafer on Tuesday and no surgery will be required to repair the fracture. Turner will keep his wrist in a brace for a few days before beginning range of motion exercises.
