Nighttime travelers beware: 5 Freeway has more closures scheduled this week

Caltrans has scheduled more closures this week on portions of the 5 Freeway.
The freeway will be closed two nights, from midnight to 6 a.m. Sunday and Monday on both sides between Artesia and Alondra boulevards to allow for construction and moving of the K-rail.
Only one lane of the northbound and southbound sides will be open the same days between just south of Norwalk Boulevard to just south of Florence Avenue. Those closures will begin at 11 p.m. Sunday and Monday. Crews are scheduled to be s
