Nieto named baseball coach at Tesoro

Tony Nieto today was named varsity baseball head coach at Tesoro.
He replaces Rick Brail who resigned in September. Brail coached the Titans for 19 seasons and at the time of his resignation was the only baseball head coach in the school’s history.
Nieto was Whittier California High’s baseball head coach for 16 seasons before spending the past two seasons as Capistrano Valley’s pitching coach.
