NHRA Winternationals could see Torrence, Kalitta in finals yet again

The professional drag racing season begins with the 60th annual NHRA Winternationals Thursday through Sunday at Pomona’s Auto Club Raceway and, after 22 events held throughout the country, will as usual conclude back at same track with the NHRA Finals, to be run this year Nov. 12-15.
These Pomona stops have been particularly good to Top Fuel racers Steve Torrence, the two-time defending national champion, and Doug Kalitta, the event winner at the last two Winternationals as well as the NHR
