NFL draft’s ‘Mr. Irrelevant’ is Mississippi QB Chad Kelly

Chad Kelly had to wait three days to hear his name called at the NFL draft, but the former Mississippi quarterback soon will be feted in Newport Beach as “Mr. Irrelevant.”
Kelly was the 253rd and final pick of this year’s NFL draft, by Denver. If he accepts an invitation, Kelly will be honored sometime in June as part of the annual “Irrelevant Week” festivities, which include a gift-heavy arrival party, a banquet and other fun Southern California activities chosen b
