Negotiations between Capo Unified district and union reach an impasse

After 16 bargaining sessions, the Capistrano Unified School District and teacher’s union have been unable to agree on a new contract.
The district on July 1 announced negotiations had reached an impasse.
In a statement, Capo Unified spokesman Ryan Burris said the district will continue to negotiate with the union in the coming weeks.
