National School Choice Week ends but school choice continues

With the close of National School Choice Week, it is worth reflecting on the great strides made in school choice in California over the past year and some of the challenges.
School choice, fundamentally, is about giving parents the ability to choose the best educational options for their children. Rather than restricting choices to traditional public schools, school choice is about opening options beyond traditional public schools, including charter schools, magnet schools and private schools.
