Nathan Chen defends U.S. figure skating title to earn spot on Olympic team

San Jose—Nathan Chen began skating inspired by the 2002 Olympic Games in his hometown.
Chen, 18, booked a place at next month’s Olympic Games with a victory at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships Saturday night at SAP Center that was as dominating as expected.
