‘Mum’s the Word Bandit’ strikes, silently, again in Anaheim

ANAHEIM – A serial bank robber who the FBI calls the “Mum’s the Word Bandit” was believed to have robbed an Anaheim bank for the second time.
The man, named for his silence during his robberies, entered the Bank of the West on La Palma Avenue at about 12:50 p.m. Monday, July 10 and passed a note to a teller.
He fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
A teller told police that the man was the same who committed a May 18 robbery, said Sgt. Daron Wyatt of the Anaheim Polic
