Motorcyclist killed on Costa Mesa freeway transition is identified

COSTA MESA — The coroner’s office today identified a 37-year-old motorcyclist killed in a crash with a Toyota on a freeway transition road in Costa Mesa.
The motorcyclist was Michael Briano, according to the coroner’s office.

The crash took place at 5:35 p.m. Sunday on the transition road between the northbound 73 toll road to the northbound 405 Free
