Motorcyclist killed in crash on Ortega Highway

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO – A motorcyclist was killed Friday night, July 13, in a collision with a minivan on Ortega Highway near the Orange-Riverside county border.
The crash was reported at 7:20 p.m. It occurred 14 miles east of Interstate 5, Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Steve Concialdi said. The motorcyclist, believed to be in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene. The two men in the minivan were not injured.
