Motorcyclist dies in Costa Mesa collision

A motorcyclist died after colliding with a car in Costa Mesa near Orange Coast College on Tuesday, March 19.
Officers responded near the intersection of Fairview Road and Adams Avenue after a caller notified police of the crash at about 8:50 p.m., according to Costa Mesa Police Sgt. Patrick Wessel. He said the man who was riding the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities did not immediately release his identity.
