MLS and Players Association agree on new 5-year CBA
Major League Soccer and the MLS Players Association reached an agreement in principle on a new five-year Collective Bargaining Agreement.
The agreement is subject to the approval of the MLS Board of Governors and the membership of the MLSPA.
The main items include: increased investment in player spending, greater flexibility for clubs to use the new resources, players to share in media revenue in 2023 and 2024, increase in charter flights and an expanded free agency system.
