Mission Viejo running back Jamari Ferrell suffers broken leg

Promising Mission Viejo junior running back Jamari Ferrell suffered a broken leg against La Habra on Friday, he said in a direct message via Twitter.
Ferrell said he broke his fibula and tibia, two main bones in the leg, in the first quarter of the Diablos’ 42-27 victory.
The ultra-quick Ferrell opened the season with strong performances against Vista Murrieta and Baldwin of Hawaii.
He joins Orange Lutheran junior tight end Ethan Rae (knee) among the O.C. standouts with major injuries.
