Metrolink commuters delayed more than an hour after freight train strikes person on tracks

Commuters on a Metrolink train were delayed for more than an hour Saturday after a BNSF freight train struck a person on the tracks Saturday morning, Dec. 7, authorities said.
The incident occurred between the West Corona and Fullerton stations, but the exact location of the collision was not immediately known.
Details about the pedestrian who was struck, including condition, were not immediately available.
Metrolink reported tracks were closed between the two stations just past 7:30 a.m.
