McDonald’s gives its menu some international flair
McDonald’s may have exported America’s love of burgers to the rest of the world, but next month it plans to get into the import business.
Beginning June 5, the fast food giant will begin serving favorites from foreign menus in U.S. restaurants, according to a news release.
The names and tastes, however, might be familiar to local tongues.
They include Cheesy Bacon Fries, which the news release calls Australian but were included in a bacon promotion launched in January.
