Mater Dei’s Kelli Godin embraces her exhausting spring pace as two-sport standout

The bandage over Kelli Godin’s left eye Saturday was a visible reminder of her sacrifice.
Her exhaustion upon returning home the previous weekend from a full day of sports was a concealed portrait of her effort.
Godin’s balancing act this spring of softball and track and field for Mater Dei hasn’t been easy, but the senior is not only gladly managing the challenge, she is succeeding at a high level.
