Mater Dei’s Amon-Ra St. Brown aiming to play opener, commit in January

All-County wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown (finger) could play in Mater Dei’s season-opener at Bishop Amat on Aug. 25, Monarchs coach Bruce Rollinson said Friday.
“It’s really, really getting well fast,” Rollinson said of St. Brown’s finger before practice. “We feel pretty confident that he’ll have a full release for the (Bishop) Amat game.”
