SANTA ANA – The No. 1-ranked Mater Dei boys basketball team has played in five tournaments and showcases this season and has faced top competition from four different states.
The Monarchs successfully flipped the switch into Trinity League mode Tuesday by beating No. 7 JSerra 77-51 in both teams’ league opener at Mater Dei High.
