Maryanne Dell: Love isn’t always instant, but it makes its way

The road to home was pretty long for Dave and Buster.
The red Tibetan spaniel – or something similar – mixes came to OC Animal Care in 2016. They were bonded, providing security and company for each other. As such, they were eligible to be adopted with one fee paid for by OC Shelter Partners, a nonprofit group that works to keep animals in good homes.
