MARC Scholars at CSUF work to make a difference, prep for grad school
Cal State Fullerton students Kendra Paquette and Shaina Nguyen are focused on research they hope could help solve two problems that regularly appear in local and national headlines: wrongful convictions and the West Nile virus.
Paquette, a senior, is working with psychology professor Iris Blandón-Gitlin to investigate cognitive processes of facial recognition, as well as forensic applications for improving the accuracy of the identification of suspects in disguises, such as hats and glass
