Mandatory evacuations ordered for Santa Ana River bottom fire in Norco

Mandatory evacuations were ordered Tuesday, March 3, as a wind-driven fire broke out along the Santa Ana River bottom in Norco.
The Mann fire was reported at 9:51 a.m. and quickly grew from an estimated 10-to-15 acres to about 100 acres shortly after 11 a.m. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire was under investigation. No home losses were reported.
Evacuation orders included a neighborhood north of North Drive from Crestview  Drive to California Avenue, Cal Fire/Riverside County
