Man whose kidnapping of boy was stopped by Good Samaritans gets prison

A man who kidnapped a 4-year-old boy from a Santa Ana park before getting stopped by good Samaritans was sentenced Friday, Oct. 23, to five years in prison, according to Orange County Superior Court records.
Armando Torreblanca Nunez pleaded guilty in 2018 to a felony count of kidnapping for child molestation, according to the records.
On the evening of July 27 2016, a mother lost sight of her son, who was playing on a playground during a birthday celebration at Jerome Park. Police began a searc
