Man struck and critically injured in Fullerton

A man in his 50s was struck by a vehicle and critically injured in Fullerton, police said.
The crash took place about 8 p.m. Monday at Commonwealth Avenue and Pomona Street, Fullerton police Lt. John Radus said.
“The victim was not in a crosswalk when he was hit,” Radus said. “He was in the middle of the street.”
Paramedics transported the man to UCI Medical Center in Orange in critical condition.
