Man shot during carjacking in Santa Ana, suspects arrested

SANTA ANA — A man in his 40s was in the hospital Friday morning, Jan. 19, after being shot during a carjacking just before midnight – and those suspected of shooting him were arrested.
At 11:57 p.m. Thursday, a black sedan pulled up behind a parked car in the 1400 block of South Shelton Street, just east of Bristol Street, said Sgt. Jim Berwanger of the Santa Ana Police Department. A woman and a juvenile male got out of the sedan and approached the other vehicle.
