Man rescued after getting trapped in Orange storm drain for 4 days
Firefighters on Monday morning, Oct. 5, rescued a man who had been stuck in an Orange storm drain for four days, authorities said.
It was around 7:30 a.m. when a passerby heard someone cry for help in the 2800 block of North Main Street and called 911, the Orange County Fire Authority said.
Firefighters from the OCFA, Anaheim and Orange worked to hoist the man out of the confined space, said OCFA Capt. Thanh Nguyen.
He was conscious and alert while rescued, Nguyen said, and firefighters learned
