Man mysteriously wounded near Seal Beach

SEAL BEACH The California Highway Patrol is investigating an incident near Seal Beach that left a man wounded.
Around 10 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to a report that a man had been shot near the westbound lanes of the 22 freeway as it transitions into the 405 freeway, the CHP said in a statement.
A man in his 50s was found suffering from a chest wound and was unable to provide a description of his attacker, according to the statement.
